Bio: Michael Shindler is a writer living in Washington, D.C. His work—which includes essays, poetry, translations, short stories, and criticism—has been published in outlets such as The American Conservative, The American Spectator, ChurchLife, University Bookman, Washington Examiner, National Review Online, RealClearDefense, and New English Review. Earlier in his career, Shindler was also variously a Non-Resident Research Fellow with the Consumer Choice Center, a Writing Fellow with America’s Future, an Advocate with Young Voices, and a Charles Koch Institute Policy Fellow at the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research.
